Skycube (.tv) has been founded in the year 2008 and is located in Montevideo (Uruguay), with representative offices in Sao Paulo (Brazil), New York (USA) and Zurich (Switzerland). The company succeeded in positioned itself in the international markets as a leading Digital Production House and Animation Studio, specialized in computer-animated graphics (CGI) – including complex character design – and high-end post-production services.

The interdisciplinary production team of Skycube offers broad know-how and year-long experience in 3D content productions, from simple advertisement clips to complex productions involving a large team of area experts. Such individuals bring along their creative and technical know-how and skills in computer-animated graphics work, post-production, VFX, editing, art conception and graphic design fields, working together in a joyful atmosphere of constant experimentation and a continuous quest for the ultimate excellence.

On the one side Skycube develops 3D animations for traditional 2D media such as TVs, internet, mobile, digital signage and cinemas. On the other side, we have already produced a respectable portfolio of commercials for 3D cinemas and 3DTVs, either with (stereoscopic) or without (auto-stereoscopic) glasses. Such services also include high-quality 2D to 3D-conversions for renamed Hollywood studios.

As a result, over the last years Skycube has produced over 300 commercials in 2D, stereoscopic and auto-stereoscopic 3D, for a variety of high profile brands on four continents. The company has been invited twice (2010 and 2011) to the Cannes Lions Festival to present its production portfolio and speak about future 3D tendencies in the international markets.
